Agricultural and single family residential uses are exempt from the provisions and
regulations contained in this Article. In calculating the area of a site for the purpose
of determining tree canopy coverage requirements, the following areas shall be excluded:
areas reserved or dedicated for future street construction or other public or private
infrastructure such as drainage facilities, dry ponds, lakes, ponds, etc.; parcels
reserved or used for schools; playing fields and other non-wooded recreation areas;
and, other facilities similar in nature.
